Money Matters

CAP Debt Centre

Christians Against Poverty (C.A.P) is a national charity working across the UK to lift people out of debt and poverty. They are a key referral partner who work closely with LCC Community Trust!

C.A.P can work with you to work out fair budgets, and negotiate with creditors.   To help you stick to your budget and repay your debts C.A.P can set up a debt Management Plan for you.  You will need to make one weekly, biweekly or monthly payment into your plan to cover your debt repayments which C.A.P will then distribute to your creditors on your behalf. If you are in severe debt then C.A.P can take you through insolvency options, such as petitioning for bankruptcy, help you fill out forms and even attend court with you.

There is always a way out of debt, there is always hope… so, if you think you need help with financial issues, call 02892 668660 or email lynsey@lcccommunitytrust.org today to arrange a home visit from a debt coach and a befriender from your local CAP centre, or click below for further information;
