Wellbeing

Well-being – noun.

‘the state of being comfortable, healthy, or happy’.

We believe that well-being matters, and so it is a key part of everything we do – supporting people’s financial, spiritual, relational, physical, mental and emotional well-being.

We have adopted WRAP as our key method of supporting individuals to maintain positive mental health. WRAP is a wellness and recovery system rooted in self-determination. We also have a suite of bespoke courses including Goal Setting, Taste and Be, Positive Steps to wellbeing, Saying No With Confidence, Stress Busting and more. We also have a weekly peer support group, called SOAR (Support, Optimism, Acceptance and Resilience), when we cover a range of topics, learn, grow and have fun together. We want to see everyone we serve flourish in all aspects of their lives!

Whilst we do not offer counselling or primary care interventions, our courses are run by trained facilitators and open to those in our community struggling to maintain their mental and emotional well-being. Just drop us an email at hello@lcccommunitytrust.org to find out what’s currently going on!
